Collagen and elastin are essential proteins that keep the skin firm, elastic and youthful-looking.
Radiofrequency (RF) energy, on the other hand, is a type of energy that is delivered to the skin to create heat. The heat causes the collagen and elastin fibers in the skin to contract, resulting in tighter and firmer skin. RF energy also stimulates collagen production, leading to long-term skin rejuvenation.
